June 2020 Finger Lakes Woodturners Zoom Remote Meeting and Demonstration

The FLWT meeting on Thursday June 18 will feature a remote demonstration by Jeffery Cheramie who will show us how to turn a new item which we believe has not been previously covered in a meeting demonstration. Jeffery will show us how he turns a one piece yo-yo. While there are any number of kits for making a yo-yo, this should be an interesting demo for a novel approach for making an item that has nearly universal appeal for “kids of all ages”, even some of us “older folks”.

Information about getting connected to the Zoom session will be sent to current members of FLWT a few days in advance of the meeting.

If you did not connect to previous online meetings, or you had problems connecting, please email us and we will set up a time ahead of the meeting to help you get set up with Zoom conferencing on your computer or other device at home.

The link for the meeting on June 18 will open at 6:30 PM, and the meeting will start with a brief business meeting at 6:45, to be followed by the demonstration.
