The April, 20 meeting will be an In Person Demonstration with Bruce Trojan at St. Michael's Woodshop. The meeting and demonstration will also be available via Zoom for members who are not attending in person. Doors and Zoom will open at 6:45 pm for informal discussions, and the meeting will begin at 7:15.
Folks attending at St Michael's Woodshop should plan to arrive no earlier than 6:45, to insure that the student program has finished for the day. Participants enter through the main entrance to sign in with building security.
Zoom information will be emailed to current FLWT members a few days in advance of the meeting.
Our very own Bruce Trojan will be demonstrating for us. The Topic of his demonstration will be Multi-Axis Face Turning (with or without a vacuum chuck). He will show how to Turn a Bowl, Platter, or Art Piece using more than one axis. This will be different than the demonstration Bruce delivered last year of a "Bowl in a Bowl." He will also discus the different methods of chucking, the different tools needed, and the concept of face turning air.
