In our February meeting, Keith Gotschall will demonstrate one of his signature pieces, made to gallery quality standards via Zoom IRD. He will go over the prep and set up for making the bowls and show techniques to solve a variety of problems. Tools and their use will be integral to the demo, with a interactive critique at the end to work on our design sensibilities.
Keith Gotschall has been involved in wood working since Jr. High School, and has been running his own shop since 1989. Now primarily a turner, his background in a variety of woodworking skills brings a confident attitude to his processes. His one man shop is filled with older machines that he has brought back to life, and is a busy, commission based, workplace.
The meeting and demonstration will ONLY be available via Zoom for members who are not attending in person. Zoom will open at 6:45 pm for informal discussions, and the meeting will begin at 7:00. Zoom information will be emailed to current FLWT members a few days in advance of the meeting.
