Finger Lakes Woodturners will hold our regular January club meeting on Thursday, January 17th. The meeting will be held at our normal meeting location and will begin at 6:00pm with a show and share of members work. A quick business meeting will commence at 6:45pm. Following the business meeting we will have our featured event.

This month will feature FLWT President Mark Mazzo with “Hollowing Without the Hassle”.

For all of you who thought they would never hollow a vessel, this one is for you.  The demonstration will show how to create a 2-piece hollow form with a concealed joint that anyone can make.  Also covered will be some ideas on different forms to create and embellishment techniques.  This will be a great opportunity to learn a way to make a hollow vessel without the angst of doing it through a small hole.  Come out and join us for an informative night, enjoy the company and and learn some great turning techniques.
